ROMA, 02 MAG - Il centrocampista del Newcastle Sandro Tonali è stato squalificato per due mesi dalla Federcalcio inglese dopo aver ammesso di aver violato le regole sulle scommesse. Lo riporta il sito del club britannico. L'ex giocatore rossonero - che sta già scontando una squalifica di dieci mesi emessa in Italia nell'ottobre 2023 per gli illeciti commessi quando era al Milan - non sconterà la squalifica se non commetterà ulteriori infrazioni prima della fine della prossima stagione. Il provvedimento prevede una sanzione di 20mila sterline. (ANSA).
